Ingredients to make Jhatpat Shahi Paneer

  • paneer cubes - 200 gms
  • For grinding masala:
  • onion - 2
  • tomato - 1 large
  • cashew nuts - 15- 20
  • red chilli powder - 1 tbsp or as per your taste
  • garlic cloves - 5
  • Other Ingredients :
  • Kitchen King masala - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Kasoori methi - 1 tsp
  • Fresh cream - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • ghee for shallow frying
  • salt to taste

How to make Jhatpat Shahi Paneer

  1. Take a kadai and roast all the ingredients listed under the grinding masala section adding little ghee. Cool the mixture and grind it to a smooth paste without adding water. Keep aside.
  2. Shallow fry the paneer cubes.
  3. Take a kadai. Add ghee and fry the ground masala for a few minutes.
  4. Add paneer cubes, salt, sugar and little water to get the gravy consistency.
  5. Add garam masala and kitchen King masala.
  6. Sprinkle crushed kasoori methi and garnish with fresh cream and close the lid for a few minutes to retain the aroma.
  7. Serve hot with rotis or naan.
