ABOUT Tomato Gazpacho RECIPE

Gazpacho is a cold Spanish soup which is eaten in summers.It is a filling soup so you can make it for dinner alonwith some light garlic bread or pasta.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Tomatoes-4
  2. Cucumber-1
  3. Green/red capsicum-1 small
  4. Bread-1 slice
  5. Garlic-2 cloves
  6. Spring onion-2
  7. Lemon Juice-1 tbsp
  8. Olive oil-4 tbsp
  9. Salt
  10. Black pepper
  11. Cumin powder


  1. Wash and blanch tomatoes in hot water so that we can remove the skin.
  2. Let it cool.Meanwhile chop cucumber,onion,garlic and rest of ingredients.Put bread in some water to moisten it.
  3. Blend blanched tomatoes with all chopped ingredients.
  4. Now strain to get a smooth gazpacho.
  5. Keep in fridge for at least 2 hours.
  6. Serve in a bowl topped with finely chopped capsicum,cucumber and onion greens.Also drizzle some olive oil and serve chilled.
