Ingredients to make Poha Veggie Pulao

  • 1 cup - Poha, rinsed in water and put in a strainer
  • 1 cup - Frozen veggies or fresh ones (Carrot, capsicum, potato, peas, broccoli, baby corn etc)
  • Green chilli slit 2
  • tomato - Medium size, cut into small pieces
  • ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Pulav masala or biryani masala - 1/2 tsp
  • chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • oil - 1 tbsp
  • mint leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • Khada masala (shahjeera, ilachi small and big, dalchini piece, cloves, bay leaves)
  • salt to taste

How to make Poha Veggie Pulao

  1. Heat a frying pan, add oil, put khada masala then add onion, green chiles, ginger garlic paste, veggies keep sauteing, once done add tomatoes. chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt. Mix well.
  2. Add biryani masala, mint leaves and coriander leaves. Add poha and stir for a minute then cover for a few minutes.
  3. Switch of flame, squeeze some lime juice and serve.
