Ingredients Serving: 0

  1. Ragi flour 3 tablespoon
  2. water 3/4 cup
  3. Roasted cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon
  4. salt to taste
  5. buttermilk 2 cups
  6. Minced green chillies 1 teaspoon


  1. Mix flour in 1/4 cup of water and make a smooth paste without any lumps
  2. Heat the remaining 1/2 cup of water and let it come to boil.
  3. Once the water comes to a boil, add ragi mixture gradually into boiling water.
  4. Continue cooking this mixture stirring at frequent intervals, once it comes to boil then simmer the flame for 3-4 mins.
  5. Switch off the flame and allow the mixture to cool down
  6. Add roasted cumin powder, minced green chillies, salt to taste and buttermilk.
  7. Mix it well or you may transfer these ingredients to blender and give one spin
  8. If it's thick, adjust the consistency of the drink by adding water
  9. Chill for a few hours and garnish with coriander leaves or mint leaves before serving.
