ABOUT Fish Masala fry RECIPE

Yummy and simple king fish fry with chopped onions and spices , other fishes like Rohu or katla also can be used

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. King fish 3 pieces
  2. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  3. Ginger powder 1 tsp
  4. coriander powder 1 tsp
  5. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  6. Garam masala 1 tsp
  7. Curry leaves 2 twigs
  8. Green chilli 2 chopped
  9. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Onion 1 chopped

Instructions

  1. Wash fish pieces , pat them dry
  2. Marinate fishes with turmeric powder , cumin powder , coriander powder , Chilli powder , lemon juice , garam masala , put the spices properly on both the sides
  3. Keep in the fridge for 30 mins for proper marination
  4. Heat oil shallow or deep fry the marinated fish in medium heat until golden , or if you like little soft then fry less
  5. Remove fish pieces from the frying pan
  6. In the same pan add curry leaves , chopped green chilli , chopped onion , 1/4 tsp coriander powder , 1/4 tsp cumin powder , a pinch of turmeric powder and salt
  7. Fry onions and spices until they are light brown , add this to fried fishes
  8. Serve hot fish with fried onions and spices with hot steamed rice
