Szechwan Chicken Noodles

ABOUT Szechwan Chicken Noodles RECIPE

One of the kids favourite dish, noodles with chicken and szechwan sauce.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chicken - 100-150 gms boneless cut into medium size strips
  2. Noodles - 1 packet 
  3. Oil - 2 tbsp 
  4. Carrot - 1 cut into julienne 
  5. French Beans - 5-6 chopped 
  6. Green and Red chilly - 2 deseed and sliced
  7. Onion - 1 large thinly sliced 
  8. Garlic - 2-3 sliced 
  9. Szechwan sauce - 2 tbsp +1 tsp 
  10. Soya sauce - 1 tbsp 
  11. Vinegar - 1 tbsp 
  12. Chilly flakes - 1 tsp 
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Water as required to boil the noodles

Instructions

  1. Take water in a pan. Bring to boil, add the noodles and cook for 10 mins or fellow the instruction given in the packet. Drain the water and pour normal water and drain. Repeat it. Add some drops of oil, mix and keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the chicken, salt to taste and saute on medium-high heat for about 5 mins.
  3. Add 1 tsp Szechwan sauce, 1 tsp soya sauce and few drops of vinegar and saute further for another 10 mins or little more till the chicken changes its colour and slightly brown stirring continuously. 
  4. Add the carrots, beans, garlic, onion and the chillies and stir fry for few mins. 
  5. Add the noodles, salt to taste, remaining schzewan sauce, Soya sauce, vinegar and chilly flakes and toss them well together for few mins and take off the heat.
