Ingredients to make Vermicelli Sacch Mucch Aam No Bake Cake( Biranj) .

  • Vermicelli 1 1/2 cup
  • Milk 1 litre
  • clarified butter 2 tbsp
  • sugar 4 tbsp ( 2 tbsp extra per taste)
  • Cardemom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Beetroot 1. ( as a natural colourant)
  • Five spice powder 1/4 tsp
  • Vanilla essence Few drops
  • Sacch Mucch Aam candy 3
  • Condensed milk 1/2 tin. ( 3 tbsp)
  • Whipped cream 1 pack of 150 grms ( blue bird)

How to make Vermicelli Sacch Mucch Aam No Bake Cake( Biranj) .

  1. Heat clarified butter in a pan. Add vermicelli, roast it brown.
  2. Add hot milk. Let the Vermicelli cook well.
  3. Add sugar. Adjust sweetness. Grate Beetroot, add 1 tbsp water in it.
  4. Mix and squeeze out the juice. Add this juice to the Vermicelli. This will give a nice pink color to it.
  5. Add Cardemom powder and Vannilla essence.
  6. Cook it till all milk is being soaked by Vermicelli. ( not very dry)
  7. Keep aside to cool for a while.
  8. After 5 minutes transfer in a pan / bowls to set.
  9. Spread in small bowls too for Individual serving.
  10. Beat your Blue bird Whipped cream powder by adding 100 ml water.
  11. Beat for 5 to 7 minutes. Add Condensed milk in it.
  12. Take out Sacch Mucch Aam from the fridge.
  13. Remove the sticks, chop and let it melt.
  14. Now add this to the condensed milk and whipped cream mixture.
  15. Add five spice powder and mix well.
  16. Spread this Sacch Mucch Aam mixture on Vermicelli Biranj.
  17. Refrigerate for 4 to 5 hrs or till it sets.
  18. After it sets take out from the fridge. Invert in a plate
  19. Cut in small pieces and serve.
  20. Your individual serving bowls are also ready to serve.
  21. You also can cut them in squares and serve.

The cup I have used is standard tea cup. 125 ml cup.
