Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1-cup yellow moong dal
  2. 1/4-cup daliya
  3. Onion [chopped] - 1
  4. Potato [chopped] - 1
  5. Corn kernels- 1/4 th cup
  6. green chili, garlic ginger paste - 1 tsp
  7. 3-spoon ghee for tadka
  8. Salt
  9. Garam Masala powder - 1 /2 tsp
  10. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  11. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  12. Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
  13. carrot [chopped]- 1/4 th cup
  14. Green peas - 4 tbsp


  1. Soak the daliya in hot water for 10 minutes.
  2. Chop the vegetables and keep them ready.
  3. Then heat a pressure cooker pan, add ghee and then add the mustard, cumin seeds followed by the curry leaves. then add the chopped onion and saute for few seconds.
  4. Then add the chopped vegetables. ginger garlic & chilly paste followed by salt and powdered masalas. Stir well. Then add ample amount of water and pressure cook them .
  5. Serve hot.
