Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fenugreek leaves 1 bunch
  2. Onions 2
  3. Tomato pulp 1 cup
  4. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  5. Bay leaf 1
  6. Cardamom 2
  7. Cloves 4
  8. Cinnamon 1 inch
  9. Ginger - garlic paste 1 tsp
  10. Green chilly 1
  11. Chilly powder 1 tbs
  12. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  13. Coriander powder 1/4 tsp
  14. Milk 3/4 cup
  15. cream 1/4 cup
  16. water 1/4 cup
  17. Salt to taste
  18. oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the fenugreek leaves. In a bowl add fenugreek leaves, some salt and water. Keep it aside for 10-15 min. After 15 min squeeze the water from leaves.
  2. In a pan heat spoon of oil add squeezed leaves and saute for 2-3 min on medium flame. Keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds, Bay leaf, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon saute for less than minute then add ginger garlic paste, green chilly saute nicely.
  4. After add onion, saute it until onion becomes golden brown. Then add chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder. Saute for minute.
  5. Add tomato pulp, fenugreek leaves and saute well.
  6. Add milk, cream, water mix nicely. Add salt and garam masala powder. Lastly add paneer cubes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  7. It tastes best with Naan, rice.
