Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bitter gourd 3 ( 150 grms)
  2. Salt 1/2 tsp to apply to Bitter gourd.
  3. Tomatoes 3
  4. Onions 2
  5. Paneer grated 1/2 cup
  6. Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  7. Ginger grated 1 tsp
  8. Red Chilli Powder 3/4 tsp
  9. Salt 1/2 tsp
  10. Sugar 2 tsp
  11. Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  12. Oil 2 tsp
  13. Coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp


  1. Chop Bitter gourd in circles and soak in salt water for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Squeeze out juice and keep aside on a cloth to dry.
  3. Chop Onions in cubes.
  4. Chop Tomatoes in cubes.
  5. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions, saute for 2 minutes.
  6. Add Chopped Tomatoes. Add Garlic, Ginger. Add salt.
  7. Remove after 5 minutes. Let it cool.
  8. Blend by adding water.
  9. Cook blended gravy on a medium flame.
  10. Adjust salt. Add sugar.
  11. Till gravy cooks deep fry Bitter gourd.
  12. Add grated Paneer to the gravy.
  13. Remove big seeds from fried Bitter gourd. Now Spread fried Bitter gourd in a plate.
  14. Spread sweet and sour gravy on it.
  15. You can either arrange in an individual serving plate 10 minutes before serving. So the gravy will be soaked. And just microwave for 30 seconds. minutes before serving.
  16. you also can soak fried Bitter gourd circles in gravy and heat gravy before serving.
  17. Garnish with chopped Coriander leaves while serving.
