Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup wheat flour
  2. 1 cup maida
  3. 1 cup pumkin ( kaddu) puree
  4. 1 cup powdered sugar
  5. 1/2 cup milk
  6. 1 tablespoon fresh cream / malai
  7. 1 tablespoon grated dried coconut
  8. 1 tablespoon raisins
  9. 1 tablespoon cashew nuts
  10. 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (Til)
  11. 1 teaspoon fennel seeds (Sauf)
  12. 1 teaspoon elaichi powder (Cardamom powder)
  13. 1 teaspoon jaiphal powder (nutmeg powder)
  14. 1 pinch salt


  1. First of all take a big mixing bowl and put wheat flour, maida and powdered sugar and mix well.
  2. Now crush sauf to make a coarse powder out of it.
  3. Add pumkin puree and fresh cream or malai to the flour mix and then add in milk as per required and make thick consistency mixture from it.
  4. Now add elaichi powder, jaiphal powder, grated dry coconut, sauf, sesame seeds to the mixture
  5. At the end add raisins, cashew nuts and a pinch of salt to the mixture and mix well.
  6. Keep the mixture aside for 10 minutes.
  7. Now heat oil for deep frying, take little mixture in hand and directly put in oil, make small size ball shape of gulgula.
  8. Fry the gulgulas till become nice golden brown and take out the gulgulas in a serving plate and enjoy.
