This is a delicious mutter kofta kadhi .we can enjoy it with rice as well phulka and pulao also. Bite of peas is giving a different taste in this recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 /4 cup besan
  2. 1 cup boiled peas
  3. Salt
  4. 1/4 tsp red chill powder
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/4 th tsp
  6. Oil for fry kofta
  7. 1/2 cup besan
  8. 1/4 cup curd 1/4 cup water mix in curd
  9. 1 tsp ghee
  10. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  11. 1/2 tsp jeera [cumin seeds]
  12. Hing [asafoetida] - 1 pinch
  13. 8-10 methidana seeds [fenugreek seeds]
  14. Bay leaf - 1
  15. 1 Dry red chilli
  16. curry leaves
  17. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  18. 3-4 mint leaves
  19. 1 tsp Ginger garlic and chilli paste
  20. Coriander leaves
  21. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Keep some peas for garnish
  2. Make paste of all peas
  3. Take besan, peas,salt, haldi ,red chilli powder and garam masala mix all of them
  4. Make koftas and fry them
  5. Now heat ghee in a pan .
  6. Add rai. jeera and hing
  7. Add methi dana
  8. When splutter add whole red chilli and bay leaf
  9. Add curry leaves
  10. Take curd ,water besan and remaining peas paste
  11. Add salt ,haldi and red chilli powder and whisk all of them
  12. No lumps required
  13. Now add this mix in kadhai
  14. Add ginger garlic and chilli paste
  15. Keep stirring and cook kadhi
  16. Add mint leaves
  17. Add koftas and cook for 5 min.
  18. Now our peas kofta kadhi is ready
  19. Garnish with coriander leaves and peas
  20. Serve hot
