Also, it's a treat for vegetarians too. Eggless cake made with buckwheat flour and chestnut flour and pressure cooked. What else can one ask for !!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 tbsp chestnut flour
  2. 4 tbsp buckwheat flour
  3. A pinch of eno
  4. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  5. 1/2 cup milk
  6. 4 tbsp refined oil
  7. 3/4 cup condensed milk
  8. 1 tsp vanilla essence


  1. Sieve buckwheat flour, chestnut flour and baking powder in a large bowl
  2. Add milk,refined oil,condensed milk,vanilla essence and eno to it
  3. Beat all the ingredients till you get the desired cake batter
  4. Remove the whistle of a pressure cooker and heat it up
  5. Grease an aluminum cake tin which can fit inside the pressure cooker
  6. Pour the batter in the cake tin and place it in the pressure cooker and cover it with the lid without whistle
  7. Now let the cake bake for 30 minutes on slow flame
  8. Once done, decorate the cake as desired
  9. Your guilt free pressure cooked multi grain cake is ready to serve
