Hey guys I present you with yet another delicious but fast and easy to make recipe i.e KHANDVI. Khandvi is difficult to make as it requires a lot of whipping which is painful to our hands. But when we make this in the cooker it not only saves our time but also easy to make. So friends please try this easy & fast cooker khandvi recipe. Follow the proper steps and instructions given it will turn out wonderful. Proper measurements are very important for this recipe . Hope you like it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Gram Flour
  2. 3/4 cup curd (normal)
  3. 1 & 1/2 cup water
  4. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  5. 1 tsp green chilli chopped
  6. 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
  7. salt as per taste
  8. For Tadka
  9. 1 teaspoon mustard seed
  10. 3 to 4 curry leaves
  11. 2 green chillies chopped
  12. 2 tspoon oil
  13. FOR GARNISH
  14. 2 tspoon coriander leaves chopped
  15. 1 tspoon coconut powder

Instructions

  1. Add curd & gram flour (as it is in the image)
  2. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
  3. Add 1/2 Tsp ginger paste.
  4. Add 1 tsp chopped green chilli.
  5. Add a salt as per taste.
  6. Add slowly 1& 1/2 cup water and mix it.
  7. Make a thin batter.
  8. Add 2 cup water in the cooker.
  9. Place the khandvi pot in the cooker. Do not place lid on the pot.
  10. Put gas on medium flame till 5 whistles.
  11. Turn Off the gas after 5 whistle and let the cooker cool for 3 to 4 minutes.
  12. Open the lid and remove the khandvi pot.
  13. Mix the cooked batter with spoon.
  14. Clean the platform and apply thin layer of mixture on it. ( you can also do this on the backside of the thali)
  15. Sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves .
  16. Sprinkle 1 tsp coconut powder on khandvi.
  17. Cut the strips of the khandvi using knife.
  18. Inbetween prepare the tadka using mustard seeds , green chilli ,oil and curry leaves.
  19. Roll the khandvi properly using hands.
  20. Spread the tadka all over the khandvi
  21. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  22. Easy & Fast Cooker Khandni is ready..Enjoy khandvi like that only or you can even have these with green chuteny or tomato sauce...
