Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Button Mushrooms - 1/2 kg
  2. Tomatoes - 4
  3. Green chilies - 2
  4. Green peas - 1/2 cup
  5. Capsicum - 2
  6. Spice powders :
  7. Red chiili powder - 1 teaspoon
  8. Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Coriander cumin powder - 2 tablespoon
  10. Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Amchoor powder-1/2 teaspoon / lemon( 1/2)
  12. Whole spices - 2 each of cardamon, cloves, small cinnamon sticks.
  13. Shahi jeera - 1/2 teaspoon
  14. Fennel seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  15. Oil - 3 tablespoon
  16. Coriander

Instructions

  1. Add oil to a kadhai and start with tempering
  2. Add the shahi jeera, fennel seeds and whole spices first then green chillies. Saute
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes. Stir fry on high for 2 minutes.
  4. Now add the salt and spice powders
  5. Now add the diced capsicum peices and green peas and stir fry on high
  6. Cover lowering the flame
  7. Open after 5 to 6 minutes and add the mushroom. Mix well
  8. Now check for seasoning
  9. Cover and cook till mushroom is done
  10. Add chopped coriander and serve with rice or roti.
