Healthy Sprouts Rava Idli

Ingredients to make Healthy Sprouts Rava Idli

  • Suji(rava) 1 cup
  • Moong Sprouts 1 cup
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • oil 1 tablespoon
  • salt according to taste
  • green chilly 1
  • Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  • mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  • curry leaves 10
  • Peeled garlic cloves 6
  • Eno 1/2 teaspoon
  • water 1/2 cup

How to make Healthy Sprouts Rava Idli

  1. First mix suji (rava) with curd and water. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Now take sprouts, garlic and green chilly in a jar and blend by adding 1 teaspoon of water.
  3. Keep ready sprouts paste aside.
  4. Now heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Add curry leaves & switch off the flame.
  5. Now add sprouts paste and curry leaves oil in suji mixture.Mix nicely.
  6. Add salt , black pepper and eno. Mix again.
  7. Now grease idly moulds and quickly pour suji mixture till 2/3 of each mould.
  8. Steam in microwave for 3 minutes.
  9. Check with toothpick. If toothpick comes out clean then idlis are ready.
  10. Demould and serve yummy, healthy and hot idlis with coconut chutney or any chutney of your choice.

My Tip:

Add eno just before steaming idlis.
