Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Suji(rava) 1 cup
  2. Moong Sprouts 1 cup
  3. curd 1/2 cup
  4. oil 1 tablespoon
  5. salt according to taste
  6. green chilly 1
  7. Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  8. mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  9. curry leaves 10
  10. Peeled garlic cloves 6
  11. Eno 1/2 teaspoon
  12. water 1/2 cup


  1. First mix suji (rava) with curd and water. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Now take sprouts, garlic and green chilly in a jar and blend by adding 1 teaspoon of water.
  3. Keep ready sprouts paste aside.
  4. Now heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Add curry leaves & switch off the flame.
  5. Now add sprouts paste and curry leaves oil in suji mixture.Mix nicely.
  6. Add salt , black pepper and eno. Mix again.
  7. Now grease idly moulds and quickly pour suji mixture till 2/3 of each mould.
  8. Steam in microwave for 3 minutes.
  9. Check with toothpick. If toothpick comes out clean then idlis are ready.
  10. Demould and serve yummy, healthy and hot idlis with coconut chutney or any chutney of your choice.

I don't see the step for making the curd or the Eno. Could you please explain what are the ingredients and how to make everything step by step. Thanks
