Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Besan 1 bowl
  2. Suji 1/2 bowl
  3. Curd1/2 bowl
  4. Water as per requirement
  5. Salt
  6. Turmeric
  7. Red & green Chilli
  8. Sugar
  9. Lemon
  10. Eno
  11. Baking soda
  12. Kadi patta
  13. Oil

Instructions

  1. Mix besan,suji,curd & water to form an even batter.
  2. Add salt,red & green chilli,baking soda,lemon& sugar as per taste.
  3. Add salt,red & green chilli,baking soda,lemon& sugar as per taste.
  4. For more sponge you can also add 1 pinch of baking powder.
  5. Now, add 2 spoons of oil to give a moisture.
  6. Pre heat the oven before putting the batter into it.
  7. At the same time,greeze the microwave safe bowl & pour the batter into it.
  8. Set the microwave at high temperature for 5 minutes.
  9. After 5 minutes,check the khamand with porking the knife into the bowl.
  10. Remove the khamand from the bowl & cut into even pieces.
  11. Now,heat oil in pan.Put seasum,cumin seeds,curry leaves,green chilli, into it & fry a little.
  12. Add water,sugar,salt & lemon powder as per taste.Let it boil a little.
  13. Pour this water on the prepared khamand & let it rest for half an hour.
