Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 500 grams boiled potatoes
  2. 2cups of besan
  3. Half tbsp ajwain
  4. Salt
  5. Half tbsp turmeric powder
  6. Half tbsp mustard seeds
  7. One tbsp oil
  8. 3-4 chopped green chillies
  9. Chopped coriander
  10. Oil for deep frying
  11. Dry red garlic chutney
  12. Green chutney for serving with
  13. Laadi pav loaf as required


  1. Take a bowl and add besan ajwain and salt. Add water and Make pakoda like batter. Keep aside
  2. Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds, chopped green chillies turmeric powder and salt Then add mashed boiled potatoes and mix well. Cook for a while and let it cool
  3. Make small size equal balls from the potatoes mixture
  4. Dip these potato balls in besan batter and deep fry them in batches.
  5. Now slit pavs from sides, one the upper part should be intact from one side. Now apply green and red chutney on them according to the taste
  6. Keep the vada on it and fold the pav as shown in the pictures and enjoy
