Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Manathakkali keerai -1 bunch
  2. Moong dal -1/2 cup
  3. Oil- 2 tsp
  4. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  5. Onion- 2 tsp
  6. red chili powder- 1/2 tsp
  7. Urad dal -1/2 tsp
  8. For the paste : Green chilies- 2
  9. Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
  10. Coconut grated- 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker , splutter mustard seeds. Add urad dal and saute until brown
  2. Add onions and saute until soft. Add the washed leaves and cook until wilts.
  3. Add the moong dal and saute well. Add required water and pressure cook for 2 whistles
  4. Meanwhile grind all ingredients mentioned under grinding section
  5. Once the pressure releases, add the ground paste and bring to boil.Adjust salt and serve hot with rice or roti.
