methi na thepla is a Gujarati dish. Thepla means parathe. I always love these parathe when my mom used to make it and I tried the same thing. She used to make it more healthier by adding millet flour in it. Let’s see the recipe below.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Wheat flour 2 cups
  2. Millet flour 2 cups
  3. Methi leaves 500g
  4. Green garlic with leaves 50 grams
  5. Sesame seeds 1 teaspoon
  6. Mango pickle oil 2 tablespoon
  7. Finely chopped Green chilies 2-3
  8. Ginger paste 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Wash and finely chop methi and green garlic
  2. Mix all the ingredients with water and knead stiff dough
  3. Divide dough in equal portions
  4. Dust surface with flour and roll into round rotis
  5. Heat a tava and shallow fry these rotis
  6. Serve hot with any pickle. Tastes best when serve with chundo (Gujarati sweet mango pickle)
