Beans Poriyal

Ingredients to make Beans Poriyal

  • Green beans- 2 cups chopped
  • coconut oil- 1 tbsp
  • salt- 1/2 tsp
  • mustard seeds- 1 tsp
  • Split urad dal- 1/2 tsp
  • Dry Red chili- 1 broken

How to make Beans Poriyal

  1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds
  2. Add urad dal and red chilies. Saute until golden brown
  3. Add finely chopped beans and mix well
  4. Add salt, little water and mix. Cover and cook until done stirring occasionally
  5. Serve hot with rice, sambar, rasam or chapati

My Tip:

Add grated coconut on top for additional taste
