Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chopped bhindi in roundels 4 cups
  2. Finely chopped, de-seeded tomato - 1
  3. oil 1 - 2 tablespoon
  4. Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  5. jeera 1 teaspoon
  6. Saunf/Fennel seeds 1 teaspoon
  7. turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  9. coriander Powder 1 teaspoon
  10. amchur powder 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Garam masala 1/4 teaspoon
  12. lemon juice 1 teaspoon (optional)


  1. Cut Bhindi in roundels and keep them under fan to avoid sticking
  2. Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds, jeera and saunf
  3. Add Turmeric powder, red chili powder and coriander Powder. Mix well
  4. Add bhindi and mix well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes
  5. Add amchur powder and garam masala . Mix well and cook uncovered
  6. Lastly add tomato , mix well and cook uncovered till oil separates
  7. Squeeze lemon juice, toss well and serve immediately
