ABOUT Herbal Cheesy Puff with Schezwan Mayo Dip RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup flour
  2. 120 gm butter
  3. 1/2 cup Milk
  4. 1/2 cup water
  5. 1 cup grated processed cheese
  6. Salt and pepper to taste
  7. 4 Eggs
  8. 1 tsp chili flakes( optional )
  9. 2 tbsp finely chopped dill leaves
  10. 2 tbsp finely chopped basil leaves
  11. 2 tbsp finely chopped chives
  12. For dip
  13. 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  14. 1 tbsp schezwan sauce

Instructions

  1. Add water ,milk , butter, salt , pepper and chili flakes in a pan and stir until butter dissolves.
  2. Add flour to it and mix vigorously till it forms dough.Cook till it starts leaving sides of pan
  3. Add finely chopped herbs and reserve some for topping.
  4. Allow dough to cool down
  5. Add eggs one at a time and whisk till it is completely incorporated in mixture.
  6. Now add processed cheese and whisk . Reserve some cheese for topping.
  7. Preheat oven to 190 degree. Now fill this mixture in a piping bag.
  8. Pipe out small dollop on a lined baking tin . Sprinkle reserved cheese on top
  9. Top it with reserved chopped herbs.
  10. Bake for 25 mins until golden brown.
  11. Mix schezwan sauce and mayo in a bowl to make dip.
  12. Place puffs on a serving platter.Drizzle prepared dip on top. Serve warm
