Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup sooji
  2. 1/2 cup hare pyaaz, chopped
  3. Finely chopped green chilies -2
  4. 1 inch ginger, finely grated
  5. 1 cup coriander leaves, chopped
  6. 1/2 tsp jeera
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. Oil for frying


  1. Soak the sooji with just enough water for 10 minutes
  2. Add all ingredients except oil to sooji and mix well
  3. Heat oil for frying. Wet palms , take small portion of mixture and shape like vadas
  4. Drop the vadas in hot oil . Deep fry until golden brown and crisp over low-medium heat. Drain excess oil over tissue paper
  5. Serve hot with tomato sauce or green chutney
