ABOUT Chinese Fried Rice RECIPE

A flavorful and delicious rice to impress your guest.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 cups steamed rice
  2. 1 onion finely chopped
  3. 1 1/2 cup mixed vegetables ( carrot , cabbage, beans, capsicum)
  4. 1 tbsp soya sauce
  5. 1 tbsp vinegar
  6. 1 tsp ajinomoto ( optional)
  7. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1 tbsp green chilli sauce
  9. 2 tbsp cooking oil
  10. 1 tsp salt ( if using ajinomoto then 1/2 tsp)
  11. 1/4 tsp black pepper power

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and saute sliced onion.
  2. 2. Add all the chopped vegetables and stir fry them for 2-3 min . Make sure that vegetables are not overcooked , they should be slightly crispy not soft.
  3. 3. Add soya sauce, vinegar, green chilli sauce, red chilli powder, ajinomoto,salt,black pepper.
  4. 4. Add previously prepared steamed rice and mix gently. Cook for 2-3 min over medium heat.
  5. 5. Turn off heat and transfer Chinese fried rice to a serving bowl

This is one of my favourite Indo-Chinese dish.
