Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1/2 kg mutton chops
  2. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  3. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  4. 2 tbsp red chilli paste
  5. 1/4 cup yogurt
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 2-3 tbsp ghee
  8. 3-4 green cardomon
  9. 1-2 black cardomon
  10. 1 bay leaf
  11. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  12. 4-5 cloves
  13. 3 medium onion chopped
  14. 1 tsp oil
  15. 1 tsp cumin powder
  16. 1 tsp coriander powder
  17. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  18. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  19. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  20. Chopped fresh coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Marinate mutton pieces in turmeric powder 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste red chilli paste and yogurt. Keep for 30 min.
  2. Heat 2-3 tbsp ghee in cooker and add whole garam masala and saute till fragrant.
  3. Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and onions saute till golden brown.
  4. Add oil and add mutton pieces and cook for 5 min.
  5. Add all powder masala and cook for 1-2 min.
  6. Add salt and 1 1/2 cup of water and cook 3 min.
  7. Put the lid and take 7-8 whistles.
  8. Once mutton is cooked and you find your gravy consistency right switch off the gas.
  9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
