Everybody loves Dhaba style food, so here is another variety of the curry made with paneer, to be served with some tandoori roti on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Paneer 1/2kg
  2. Onion 4 [ground into a paste]
  3. Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  4. Tomato 2 [ground into a paste]
  5. Oil 2 tbsp/ghee/butter
  6. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  7. Bay leaves 3-4
  8. Cinnamon stick 1/2inch
  9. Big Cardamom 1
  10. 1/2tsp turmeric powder
  11. 1/2tsp coriander powder
  12. 1tsp kashmiri Lal mirch
  13. 1/4tsp garam masala
  14. 1/2 cup curd(secret ingredient)


  1. In a kadai heat ghee/oil/butter crackle cumin seeds
  2. Crackle bay cinnamon sticks.saute for few minutes
  3. Add onion paste saute it
  4. Add tomato paste saute till it starts leaving kadai
  5. Add all spices and salt
  6. Add water along with mashed curd.mix it nicely
  7. Cook it for few minutes
  8. Add in garam masala
  9. Cube paneer pieces
  10. Add it to gravy
  11. Dhaba style paneer ready to be served.garnish with chopped coriander leaves
