Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Dosa Batter 1 cup
  2. 5 Boiled and Mashed potatoes
  3. 1/4 cup Chopped onions
  4. 1 Dry Red chilli
  5. 1)2 teaspoon Chopped ginger
  6. 1/2 teaspoon of chana dal
  7. 1/2 teaspoon of urad dal
  8. 1/2 teaspoon of jeera
  9. 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds
  10. 1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric powder
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil 2 teaspoon
  13. Some curry leaves
  14. Some Chopped coriander leaves
  15. 2 Green chillies

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add chana dal, urad dal, jeera (cumin seeds) and mustard seeds.
  2. Add red chilli and chopped ginger.
  3. When mustard seeds start to sputter, add the chopped onions, green chillies and curry leaves.
  4. Saute well until onions become translucent. Add turmeric powder and salt.
  5. Add mashed potatoes and mix well.
  6. Add coriander leaves.
  7. Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes, then switch off the flame.
  8. Heat a Dosa pan with little oil.
  9. Pour 1 ladle of Dosa Batter and add some oil, ghee or butter.
  10. Cook until Dosa is a light golden brown colour. Add the potato masala.
  11. Fold the Dosa and serve hot. Serve with tomato chutney and coconut chutney.
