upma which sticks at the bottom of a pan, a perfect breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. rice 2 cup
  2. thoor dhal 1 cup
  3. red chilli 5
  4. salt
  5. gingely oil

Instructions

  1. soak rice,thoor dhal for 4 hours
  2. add red chillies before grinding. grind it in a grinder nicely
  3. add salt and mix well. take a pan. add oil. allow mustard and urad dhal to split. add the batter.
  4. leave it without stirring. in a few minutes it will stick to the bottom. take the sticked bottom piece alone.
  5. pour gingely oil while taking it. leave the upma again. after few minutes it sticks to the bottom. remove the piece alone. keep doing till you could take most it it.
  6. in the mean time batter cooks well and becomes upma. stir a little and serve hot.
