ABOUT Idli chilly RECIPE

Sometimes it happens that we have some left over idlis from breakfast from the other day so give them a makeover with some chinese flavors for a yummy breakfast idea.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Idli - 4 cut in cubed
  2. Chopped onion - 1
  3. Chopped capsicum - 1
  4. Chopped garlic cloves - 1/2 tsp
  5. Chopped green chilly - 2 cut in slit
  6. Chopped ginger - 1/2 tsp
  7. Tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp
  8. Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  9. Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
  10. Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt - to taste
  12. Oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add onion,garlic,ginger and green chilly together.
  3. Cook till onions are transparent.
  4. Add the capsicum and stir fry for one mins.
  5. Allow it to remain crunchy
  6. Add tomato sauce,soya sauce,vinegar,salt and sugar and saute for one to two mins.
  7. Add cubed idli and mix well.
  8. Cook on a low flame.
  9. Serve hot.
