One of the most favourite Indian meal, specially in Maharshatra. Pav Bhaji is a combination of different vegetables cooked and mashed together.This is one dish, loved by people of all ages and cooked with different variations in different households. Pav Bhaji is a delicious way to have all the healthy vegetables together without compromising on the taste. Here is a spicy and easy Pav Bhaji recipe for you to easily cook this iconic dish at home.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. oil 3 tbsp
  2. onion 1 finely chopped
  3. garlic 6 to 7 pods finely chopped
  4. tomatoes 4 to 5 medium size (pureed)
  5. Pau bhaji masala 3 tsp
  6. red chilly powder 2 tsp
  7. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  8. salt to taste
  9. potato 1 large size, (peeled) boiled
  10. Brinjal (baigan) 1 medium size, (peeled) boiled
  11. Green peas 1/2 cup, boiled
  12. Couli flower 1 cup, boiled
  13. butter 2 tbsp
  14. Coriender for garnishing


  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add finely chopped onion and finelly chopped garlic. Saute till it turns little golden brown.
  3. Now add tomato puree, pau bhaji masala, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  4. Cook this gravy till it leaves oil.
  5. Now add all the boiled veggies.
  6. Mix it well.
  7. Add little water to make pau bhaji smooth.
  8. Lastly add butter and coriender.
  9. And cook it well.
  10. Its ready.surve hot with pau or bread.
