Nutty Choco Vanilla Ghee cake

Ingredients to make Nutty Choco Vanilla Ghee cake

  • Whole wheat flour - 1 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Cardamon powder - 1 tsp
  • salt-1 pinch
  • Castor sugar-1 cup
  • Mixed chopped nuts - 1/4 cup
  • (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
  • Hersheys cocoa powder-2 tbsp
  • ghee-1/2 cup
  • Milk- 3/4 cup + 2 tbsps
  • lemon - 1 /2
  • Vanila extract-1 tsp

How to make Nutty Choco Vanilla Ghee cake

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °
  2. Seive the dry ingredients except sugar, nuts and Coco powder.
  3. Mix melted ghee and sugar.
  4. Squeeze the lemon in the milk. Add vanila extract to it and mix.
  5. Add the seived flour and milk mixture alternately to the sugar ghee mixture.
  6. Mix well using cut and fold method
  7. Dissolve cocoa powder In 2 tbsp milk. Keep aside.
  8. Grease an 8" × 4" loaf tin or round pan and dust with flour all over.
  9. Pour 3/4 of the batter in the loaf pan first.
  10. Now mix the Coco milk in the remaining batter and pour over the white batter.
  11. Make swirls with skewer.
  12. Dust chopped nuts with a tbsp of flour and sprinkle all over the batter.
  13. Bake at 160 ° for 40 to 60 minutes
  14. Check for doneness in the last 5 to 10 minutes.
  15. Cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

My Tip:

Can add or reduce sugar according too your desire.
