Idlis are so healthy as they are steamed and this is how i make them at home.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2cup of semolina
  2. 1/4cup of oats
  3. 1cup of curd
  4. 1tsp of Eno fruit salt
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1tsp of mustard seed
  7. 1/4tsp of fenugreek seed
  8. 1/4tsp of oil


  1. Mix oats, semolina &curd
  2. Add salt
  3. Take a pan, add oil ,crackle mustard seed & fenugreek seeds.
  4. Add in to the mixture & make batter with the help of water
  5. Add Eno fruit salt and mix gently.
  6. Grease the mould & pour batter
  7. Steam the for 12 minutes .
  8. Cool down, demould and serve with chutney
