Ingredients to make Tomato kandha poha

  • 1 glass thick poha
  • 1 big onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tea spoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tea spoon mustard seeds
  • 2table spoon ground nuts
  • 1/2 table spoon turmeric powder
  • 1 table spoon phutana( fried chana)
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • curry leaves
  • 2table spoon oil
  • 1/4 tea spoon sugar
  • coriander leaves
  • 1/2 lemon

How to make Tomato kandha poha

  1. Was hand soak poha in water
  2. Chop onion
  3. Chop tomato
  4. Chop greenchillies
  5. In a pan heat oil
  6. Once heated add ground nuts and fry
  7. Add cummin seeds
  8. Mustard seeds
  9. Add phutana
  10. Add curry leaves
  11. Add chopped onion and saute for a minute
  12. Add chopped tomato,
  13. Cook till tomato gets soft
  14. Add turmeric powder
  15. Add salt
  16. Add sugar
  17. Add lemon juice
  18. Coriander leaves
  19. Check of the poha is soaked then drain the water
  20. Add it to the cooked mixture
  21. Mix well
  22. Serve with Mixture( Sev)

Adding lemon gives a tangy flavour
