Mayonnaise Dabeli Burger

Ingredients to make Mayonnaise Dabeli Burger

  • Burger buns 4
  • Dr.Oetket's Tandoori mayonnaise 2 tablespoon
  • potato 2
  • onion 1
  • Groundnuts 1 fistful
  • pomegranate 1 fistful
  • dates 10
  • tamarind 1 inch
  • Redchilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • jeera powder 1 teaspoon
  • jaggery grated 2 tablespoon
  • Redchillies 10
  • garlic 10 pods
  • salt accordingly
  • oil 50 ml
  • butter 50 gms
  • Black salt 1/4tsp
  • Chaat masala 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • coriander leaves a fistful
  • Grated coconut 1 tablespoon
  • Any bhujia 50 gms

How to make Mayonnaise Dabeli Burger

  1. Boil potatoes and mash them well
  2. Chop onion to fine pieces
  3. Roast peanuts with little oil and cool in a bowl
  4. In a kadai add little oil and fry the onions and mashed potatoes
  5. Add the masala powders - chilly powder ,chaat masala, black salt, turmeric powder, jeera powder and salt as required.
  6. Mix well and cool. Add the ground nuts, pomegranate, grated coconut, coriander leaves and mix well.
  7. In a blender add dates , red chilli powder, tamarind, jeera powder, jaggery, little water and blend well
  8. Boil this in a kadai for few minutes
  9. Blend the red chillies,garlic, salt and saute with little oil and keep aside.
  10. Collect all the ingredients ready to be stuffed
  11. Cut the bun horizontally and apply garlic chutney on a side and dates chutney on the other
  12. Keep the potato stuffing inside.
  13. Apply mayonnaise on the filling and close it
  14. Roast on a tawa with little butter
  15. Roast till golden on both sides
  16. Garnish the sides with the bhujia and serve hot

My Tip:

The potato masala can be cooked as patties and used in burgers
