ABOUT Millet jaggery dosa RECIPE

This sweet dosa made from millet flour and jaggery is my childhood favorite . My mother used to make it regularly as it is a healthy breakfast .i feel nostalgic whenever i make it now.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Ragi flour - 1/4 cup
  2. Pearl millet flour -1/4 cup
  3. Wheat flour -1/2 cup
  4. Foxtail millet flour - 1/4 cup
  5. Jaggery -3/4 cup
  6. Cardomom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Banana mashed -1 or 2
  8. Ghee or oil - for dosa

Instructions

  1. In a vessel add jaggery and little water and bring it to boil.strain it to remove impurities.
  2. Ads all the flour varieties, cardomom powder and mashed banana and bring it to dosa batter consistency.
  3. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat non stick dosa pan or iron skillet and pour handful of batter and spread it to make dosas. Add ghee and flip over other sideand cook until colour changes .
  5. Serve hot.
