  • moong split dal 1cup
  • peeled and crushed garlic 2 tsp
  • ghee 2tsp
  • cummin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • ghee 1 tsp
  • pinch of asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2tsp red chiily powder
  • 1/2 tsp corriander powder
  • grated ginger 1/2 tsp
  • finely chopped tomato 1

How to make lasuni moong dal

  1. pressure cooker dal with 4-5 whistle
  2. as cooker cools down remove dal
  3. keep another pan on flame
  4. add ghee
  5. add asafoetida
  6. add cummin seeds
  7. add garlic
  8. add ginger
  9. add tomatoe
  10. add red chili powder
  11. add turmeric powder
  12. add dry corriander powder
  13. add salt to taste
  14. add dal
  15. take a boil
  16. its ready to be served
