Ingredients to make Instant Rasam

  • tomato 4
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp hing
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp jeera powder
  • 2 tbsp Rasam powder
  • salt or Induppu
  • coriander leaves
  • For Seasoning
  • ghee
  • jeera
  • curry leaves

How to make Instant Rasam

  1. RINSE 4 TOMATOES THOROUGHLY AND BLEND THEM
  2. ADD 4 CUPS OF WATER TO TOMATO PUREE
  3. STRAIN TOMATO PUREE
  4. FILTER THE SEEDS
  5. BOIL TOMATO PUREE
  6. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER AND HING
  7. ADD 1 TSP PEPPER AND JEERA POWDER
  8. MIX THEM
  9. ADD 2 TBSP RASAM POWDER
  10. ADD INDUPPU OR SALT AS PER TASTE
  11. ADD ROUGHLY CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES
  12. PREPARE TADKA WITH GHEE, JEERA AND CURRY LEAVES
  13. WHEN RASAM IS BOILING, ADD TADKA
  14. TURN OFF THE FLAME WHEN FOAMY LAYER IS FORMED
