ABOUT dal methi parantha RECIPE

My kids favourite and mine too, easy to cook and healthy too.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup wheat flour
  2. 1/4 cup cooked moong dal
  3. 1/2 cup methi leaves
  4. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  5. 1 tsp carrom seeds
  6. salt, to taste
  7. water, as required
  8. ghee, as required

Instructions

  1. Add salt, carrom seeds and black pepper powder to wheat flour.
  2. Add the methi leaves and mix.
  3. Make a dough using the dal and add little more water if required.
  4. let it rest for 10 mins.
  5. Heat up the tawa and make small paranthas and shallow fry them on both sides till brown.
  6. Serve hot with curd , chutney or pickle.
