Ingredients to make Besani Fried Fish...(Gram flour and chaat masala coated fish)

  • King Fish or any good variety 2 kg
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • red chilli powder 2 tbsp
  • turmeric 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • salt 1 tbsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tbsp
  • gram flour or besan 1 cup (for dry coating)
  • lemon juice 2 tbsp

How to make Besani Fried Fish...(Gram flour and chaat masala coated fish)

  1. Marinate the fish with all the ingredients.
  2. The longer the marination time, the more tastier would be the fried fish.
  3. The gram flour used in this is dry with little salt if desired and chaat masala in it.
  4. Coat the fish pieces with this dry flour well and deep fry them few at a time.
  5. Deep fry in hot oil on a medium high heat until crisp and golden on both the sides.
  6. Serve it hot with khatti daal and steaming plain boiled rice.
