Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Mudakathan leaves - 2 cup
  2. Raw rice - 1/2 cup
  3. Par boiled rice - 1/2 cup
  4. Urad dal - 1 tablespoon
  5. Methi seeds - 1 teaspoon
  6. Oil - to make dosa
  7. Salt - as needed

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak rice for 3 hours.
  2. Clean and chop mudakathan leaves and set aside.
  3. Soak urad dal and methi seeds for 3 hrs.
  4. Grind rice, leaves, urad dal and methi seeds together to a nice batter.
  5. Ferment the batter for 8 hrs.
  6. Add salt and water to the batter. Mix it well.
  7. Batter should be little watery.
  8. Heat a dosa pan, take a laddle of batter and pour it. Spread it in a circular motion.
  9. Add oil and once cooked flip it over the other side .
  10. Add oil and cook.
  11. Serve hot with onion chutney.
