About Rajma masala curry Recipe

In this recipe I have used Red Rajma Beans which is popularly know as Kidney Bean.

Rajma masala curry

Ingredients to make Rajma masala curry

  • rajma boiled : 2 cups
  • oil : 3-4 tbsp
  • cumin seeds : 1 tsp
  • Dry red chilli : 1
  • curry leaves : 1 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste : 2 tsp
  • Green chilli : 1
  • onion chopped : 1
  • tomato puree : 1 cup
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli paste to taste
  • coriander powder to taste
  • Kasuri methi to taste
  • Kitchen king masala to taste
  • rajma masala to taste
  • Garam masala to taste
  • coriander leaves : 1/2 cup

How to make Rajma masala curry

  1. Heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seed, dry red chilli and curry leaves. Let it splutter for a min.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, green chilli and onion. Fry for few mins. Add tomato puree and cook till the raw smell of tomatoes are gone.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi, kitchen king masala and rajma masala. Mix well.
  4. Add rajma and mix well. Boil it on high and then cook on slow for 10-15 min. Sprinkle garam masala on it. Add coriander leaves and mix. Serve hot.
