Mawa Gujiya

Ingredients to make Mawa Gujiya

  • mawa 1/2 kg
  • Powdered sugar 1/2 kg
  • Roasted sooji 150 gm
  • cardamom powder 3 tsp
  • chironji 2-3 tbs
  • curd 2 tbs
  • oil 2 tbs + frying

How to make Mawa Gujiya

  1. ADD 150 GM ROASTED SOOJI,2.5 TBS CHIRONJI,3 TSP CARDAMOM POWDER IN 1/2 KG MAWA
  2. ADD 1/2 KG POWDERED SUGAR GRADUALLY
  3. MIX WELL
  4. ADD 2 TBS OIL IN 250 GM REFINED FLOUR (MAIDA)
  5. 2 TBS FRESH CURD
  6. MIX WELL & KNEAD A SOFT DOUGH
  7. APPLY SOME OLIVE OIL AND LET IT REST FOR 10 MINUTES
  8. TAKE SOME DOUGH AND ROLL OUT THIN
  9. TAKE A GUJIYA MAKER, PLACE THE CHAPAATI & APPLY THE SLURRY ON THE EDGES
  10. FILL SOME MAWA MIXTURE & COVER IT PROPERLY
  11. LIKE THIS
  12. DEEP FRY INTO HOT OIL ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT
  13. TAKE OUT & STORE IN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER
