This is a combination of soup and momos together, which is absolutely delicious to eat and very healthy as well.

Soup @ momos

Ingredients to make Soup @ momos

  • 1 cup purpose flour
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tsp oil
  • Stuffing momos::
  • 1 cup grated cabbage
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 tsp chili paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp salt
  • oil as need
  • For soup:::
  • 2 berinj leafs
  • Crushed garlic one tsp
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 chopped parsley
  • 1 cup cornflour
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp salt

How to make Soup @ momos

  1. Knead well and keep aside to rest for sometime. Then heat a kadhai with some butter. Add cumin seeds and the add the vegetables.
  2. Cook and cover for few minutes until the veggies have become soft enough. Then add salt, chilly paste and mix well. Then divide the dough into equal parts, roll each part into tiny puris, stuff each of them with the vegetable stuffing and shape them as momos.
  3. Now steam these momos for 20 minutes in a hot steamer. While that is cooking, heat another pan with some butter. Then add the chopped garlic and once they smell, add the veggies.
  4. Add water and let this boil enough so that the veggies are cooked. Then make some cornflour slurry, add this into the cooking soup along with required amount of salt. Now once the soup is thick enough, add the cooked momos into the soup, boil for 2 more minutes and serve hot.
