ABOUT Soya chaap masala RECIPE

Try this recipe of soya chaap masala. I made this without adding milk, cream,butter or kaju paste but got the same texture as we got by adding these ingredients. Try this it is less fatty easy to make also

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 grams soya chaap
  2. 4 to 5 medium size tomato pure
  3. 4 to 5 medium size onion paste
  4. 1 tea spoon ginger garlic paste
  5. 1 tea spoon kasuri methi
  6. 1/2 cup curd
  7. 1/2 tea spoon red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tea spoon haldi powder
  9. 1/2 tea spoon jeera powder
  10. 1/2 tea spoon dhaniya powder
  11. 1/2 garam masala
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 2 lavang
  14. 2 bay leaves
  15. 2 green cardamom
  16. 1 black cardamom
  17. 1 cinnamon stick
  18. 1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds
  19. 1/2 cup oil
  20. 1 cup water
  21. Green coriander for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Firstly take a deep bottom pan add oil, heat the oil and fried all the soya chaap sticks and keep aside
  2. Now in same pan make the gravy by adding cumin seeds and whole spices mix well
  3. Now add the onion paste stir it well for a minute add the ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tea spoon kasuri methi mix well
  4. Cook the onion paste till it changes and oil gets separated
  5. Now add tomato pure and all the dry masala's including salt and excluding garam masala , mix well
  6. Cook the tomato paste till oil gets separate by covering lid on low flame
  7. It will take .2 to 3 minutes
  8. Now add the curd stir it on high flame till boil comes
  9. Cook the gravy for another 2 minutes by covering lid on low flame
  10. Now add the fried chaap, kasuri methi, garam masala's and mix well
  11. Now add one cup water and cook the soya chaap gravy on low medium flame for 5 to 10 minuets by covering lid
  12. Lastly garnish with some green coriander leaves
  13. Serve soya chaap masala's, rotis, lacha parathas or naans
