Masala dosa

Ingredients to make Masala dosa

  • Dosa batter
  • ghee
  • potato cooked and mashed 1 cup
  • onion sliced 1 numbers
  • turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • chana dal 1 teaspoon
  • urad dal 1 teaspoon
  • jeera 1/2 teaspoon
  • mustard seed 1 teaspoon
  • ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  • green chilly 4 numbers
  • salt

How to make Masala dosa

  1. IN A PAN HEAT OIL AND ADD URAD DAL MUSTARD SEED JEERA AND CURRY LEAVES.ADD ONION GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  2. ADD TURMERIC POWDER GREEN CHILLY AND SAUTE FOR TWO MINUTES
  3. ADD SALT AND MASHED POTATOES
  4. ADD WATER AND COOK WELL
  5. MASH WELL ALL PIECES AND COOK TILL IT DRIES UP
  6. THIS IS THE CONSISTENCY OF MASALA
  7. IN A HOT TAVA MAKE THIN DOSA
  8. SPRINKLE SOME OIL OR GHEE AND COOK IN LOW FLAME TILL CRISPY
  9. LEAVE DOSA FROM TAVA AND SPREAD MASALA OVER HALF PART OF IT
  10. SPREAD THE MASALA EVENLY AND CLOSE IT WITH OTHER SIDE OF DOSA
