Crispy Upma Cutlets

Ingredients to make Crispy Upma Cutlets

  • 1 cup leftover upma
  • 1/2cup potato sabji or boiled potato
  • Chopped green corriander
  • Chopped green chillies
  • 2 table spoon + water slurry
  • Salt pepper to taste
  • 1 cup oats

How to make Crispy Upma Cutlets

  1. TAKE 1 CUP LEFTOVER UPMA, ADD 1/2 CUP POTATO SABZI
  2. MIX & MASH TOGETHER
  3. ADD 2 TBSP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, 1 TSP GREEN CHILLIES
  4. TAKE SMALL BALLS OF THE READY MIX, SHAPE INTO CUTLETS
  5. MIX 2 TBSP FLOUR & 1/4 CUP WATER INTO A SMOOTH SLURRY, ADD SALT & PEPPER POWDER TO TASTE
  6. DIP THE UPMA CUTLETS IN THE SLURRY, ROLL IN OATS
  7. GET ALL THE CUTLETS READY, KEEP ASIDE FOR 10 MINS
  8. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  9. TAKE OFF HEAT WHEN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  10. SERVE HOT!
