About Kalonji naan. Recipe

All time favourite bread goes exellent with non_vegs as wellas veg dishes.

Kalonji naan.

Ingredients to make Kalonji naan.

  • Whole wheat flour2cups
  • curd 3/4cup
  • Apinch pf salt
  • Sugar1/2tea spoon
  • Nigella seeds(kalonji)1tea spoon
  • Oil1table spoon.

How to make Kalonji naan.

  1. Mix all the ingredients and make a soft dough.
  2. Cover with a cloth and leave for one hour
  3. Now dough is risen
  4. Divide dougj into 6 equall portions
  5. Roll each portion to a bread .
  6. Apply some nigella seeds on upper side.
  7. Moisten other side of naan with water.
  8. Meanwhile heat a tawa and put moisted side on tawa and kalonji side on upper side.
  9. Cook on medium flame for 2minutes.
  10. Upside_down tawa and further cook for 2minutes on other side.
  11. Increase flame and cook for 10seconds till brown patches arrives.
  12. Remove from tawa,apply butter
  13. Cook other naans on the same way
  14. Serve after applying butter on naans.

My Tip:

Iprefer to use whole wheat flour instead of maida,as ot is more healthy option.
