About Mambazha Puliserry Recipe

This is a savory dish using fresh mangoes!! Aren’t we tired of making mango lassi or mango desserts this classic Kerala recipe is nothing but divine

Mambazha Puliserry

Ingredients to make Mambazha Puliserry

  • 1 ripe banganapalli mango
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • Large bunch curry leaves
  • One cup curd
  • 2 spoons rice flour
  • 2 spoons cumin / jeera
  • 1 spoon salt to taste
  • 4-5 dried red chillies
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • mustard seeds for tadka
  • 2 spoons oil
  • Pinch asoefatida
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup coconut

How to make Mambazha Puliserry

  1. Take a pan and heat some oil and add mustard seeds when this splutters add Hing and turmeric powder
  2. Now add the green chillies and curry leaves
  3. Add the chopped mangoes
  4. Add water and cook well for 10 minutes and whisk the curd
  5. Take another pan add oil and when hot add shredded coconut , jeera, curry leaves
  6. Add to the boiling mango mixture
  7. Divine and delicious pulissery is ready

My Tip:

The secret is to use coconut oil during tempering to get a perfect Kerala mambazha pulissery
