About Amma's Spinach potato pakoda chaat Recipe

My mother used to make Spinach Potato Pakora with Green Chutney and and tangy Tamarind chutney, I found it was one of the best chaats I have ever had. So Here's a delicious tempting Tangy spinach potato pakoda chaat, my amma's recipe.

Amma's Spinach potato pakoda chaat

Ingredients to make Amma's Spinach potato pakoda chaat

  • 1. * 6 medium leaves of spinach
  • 2. One medium boiled mashed potato
  • 3. 1 tbsp boiled sweet peas
  • 4. Half cup chopped onion
  • Half cup chopped tomato
  • Half cup chopped green coriander leaves
  • One teaspoon finely chopped green chillies
  • Half spoon turmeric powder
  • Half tea spoon red chilli powder
  • Half teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • Half teaspoon coriander powder
  • Half teaspoon amchoor powder
  • Half teaspoon chaat masala
  • Half teaspoon black salt
  • Carom seeds ajwain
  • One tablespoon Find sev
  • For frying refined oil
  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • Half cup Date and turmeric chutney
  • Half cup green chutney
  • Half teaspoon asafoetida
  • For garnishing
  • One tablespoon pomegranate seeds
  • carrot optional
  • Chopped coriander leaves

How to make Amma's Spinach potato pakoda chaat

  1. 1. Wash spinach well . Remove the hard stock, pet dry using kitchen towel or paper napkin.
  2. 2. for feeling add all ingredients mashed boiled potato ,chopped onion, finely chopped green chillies ,chopped green coriander leaves, boiled green peas ,red chilli powder, jeera powder, coriander powder ,chaat masala ,black salt for your test your feeling is ready.
  3. 3. take one  spinach leaves field potato mix and cover of second spinach leaves.
  4. 4.  For batter take gram flour, turmeric powder, chili powder, asafoetida, ajwain and salt in a bowl and mix add some water and whisk well smooth ,add baking soda and whisk well to make a Samy thik batter.
  5. 5.    coat filled potato spinach with the batter and deep frying hot medium oil till Golden and crisp .Drain on absorbent paper .
  6. 6.  place  pakodas on a serving platter put some onion and tomato on top and some chaat masala, dried mango powder, black salt and chilli powder 
  7. 7.  drizzle some yogurt ,date and tamarind chutney and green chutney on top Sprinkle some cumin powder, chaat masala and fine sev.

  9. 8.  Serve immediately garnished with coriander leaves and pomegranate

1. fry pakodas in medium heat
